FLINT, Michigan—November 26, 2014– The spirit of Christmas is alive and well at Randy Wise Automotive. For every new or used vehicle sold from their six locations across Genesee County, they will partner with the Old Newsboys of Flint to bring Christmas gifts to one child this Christmas. “It’s vitally important that we play a key role in improving the lives of those in need, and what better way to do this than with children and the Old Newsboys,” said Chris Wise, Vice President of the Randy Wise Automotive Team. “This couldn’t come at a better time,” says Old Newsboys Executive Director, Chris Hamilton. “We’ve already signed up 1,800 kids this year—and it’s not even Thanksgiving!” The Old Newsboys anticipate putting gifts under the tree at least 6,000 children this Christmas.

“Our entire team is committed to helping this county,” said Randy Wise, CEO of the Randy Wise Automotive Team. “Chris and I are both on the board of the United Way, and Chris is also on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Flint. We’ve been actively involved in the community for over 25 years. I make my living in this town, and I live in this town. I want to do whatever it takes to see this area succeed and shine.”

“’Let No Child be Forgotten’ is more than a slogan to us,” states Hamilton. “It’s a promise.” Since 1924, the Old Newsboys have provided Christmas gifts to over 787,000 children. Every child enrolled in the Old Newsboys’ Christmas Program receives a sweat suit, socks and underwear, gloves and a hat, dental hygiene products, and an age-appropriate toy or gift.
